Dorothy Marie Senko (nee Czajkoski), born January 15, 1938, age 79, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Heritage Woods Supportive Living Facility in Plainfield, IL.
Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Bonnie Skeldon, Janice (Kenneth) Lee, John Senko, Mary (Bruce) Bina and Joseph (Theresa) Senko; grandchildren, Ryan, Jacob, Kendal (Jeff) Rainford, Joey, Kellianne, Lauren, Luke, Jeremiah, Bethany, Heidie and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Johannah and Kole; sister, Delores Pruitt; nephew, Brian Pruitt; and niece, Joyce.
A lifelong resident of New Lenox, she was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Joseph Senko; parents, Anton “Tony” and Josephine (Zarnowski) Czajkoski; brothers, Raymond and Edward; and one twin brother in infancy, Richard.
Dorothy’s commitment was to her family and her faith in God. She worked at St. Patrick’s Residence in the 1970’s and was generous to all who knew her.
A celebration of Dorothy’s life will begin on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:10 a.m. then driving in procession to Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Church in Homer Glen for a Rite of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Parastas Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
