Dorothy A. Carter

Dorothy A. Carter (Buldak) (nee Kramerich), age 97, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Lawrence (Judy) Buldak and Carol (Larry) Studer; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters: Bernadine (the late Louis) Maffeo and Loretta (Ernest) Fagiano; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her late husband, James Carter; former husband, Andrew Buldak; two grandchildren in infancy; parents: Martin and Elizabeth (nee Rogina) Kramerich; brothers: Martin Jr., Frank, Leonard, and Daniel Kramerich; and sisters: Frances Billy, Elizabeth Skufca, and Mae Rose Zukoske.
Dorothy graduated from St. Francis Academy. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet and volunteered her time to the American Cancer Society, Democratic Party, and St. Joseph Church choir. She enjoyed learning to oil paint and play the organ later in life, and will be remembered for her hospitality, and love of family and friends.
Services have been held with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet.
