Doris E. Johnson

Doris Elizabeth Johnson (nee Wall), age 90, passed away at home with her family by her side on Friday, February 22, 2013. Survived by her daughters Jacqueline (Bill) Entwistle and Ardis (Jim) Gregorash; sons, Joseph F. Johnson, III and Chris (Ginger) Johnson-Da Rusha; grandchildren, Harry (Debra) Entwistle, Barry Entwistle, Audrea (Terry Smith) Goepfert, Tammy (Dean La Meers) Gregorash, Jim (Myra Blanton-Grachan) Gregorash, Jr., Robin (Brian Lobsiger) Johnson and Megan and Marlee Barnes; great-grandchildren, Nick, Lexi and Lysi Gregorash, Joe, Max and Jacob Entwistle, Kolton, Konnor and Erin Goepfert, Ariana Sohn, Bobby Lobsiger, Kier and Kage Larson, Gianna La Meers and Alicia and Christina Grachan; sister-in-law, Winnie (the late Ray) Johnson; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Joseph F. Johnson, Jr.; daughter, Nancy Ann Johnson; parents, William and Mae (nee Weber) Wall; brothers, John (Sophie) Wall and Artie (Sadie) Wall and grandson, Joseph F. Johnson, IV.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Deidre Greathouse-Williams and Joliet Area Community Hospice for the loving care they provided Doris.

Doris will be remembered for her fiery unwavering spirit and most importantly her great love and devotion to her children and grandchildren.

According to her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held.
