Doris R. Farrell

(nee Oftedahl) Age 88, at rest March 7,2008 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with her family by her side. Loving mother of two sons Ronald (late Dorothy) and Richard Johnson, step daughter Eileen (Jim) Blasko. Dearest grandmother of six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Jack S. Farrell, one son Larry Johnson, father and mother Jonas and Agnes Oftedahl, and one brother Warren Johnson.

Doris was born in Glen Ellyn, IL. and lived in Joliet since 1947. She worked at the Rockdale Can Co., was a waitress at Welco Truck Stop, Joliet Arsenal and for many years worked with her husband as entrepreneurs in the mobile food service industry at many different festivals.

Chapel services will be held at the funeral home on Monday March 10, 2008 at 11:am Rev. Joseph Newton officiating Interment Elmhurst Cemetery Visitation will be Monday morning from 9:am until time of services.
