Dorene J. (Studer) Bryan

Dorene Jean Bryan, age 80, a lifelong resident of Joliet, Illinois, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.  She was born on February 27, 1943.

Dorene is survived by her daughter Patty (Sean) Deering; grandchildren: Taylor Kellogg, Dominic Kellogg, and Brennan Deering, also surviving is her brother William "Bill" (Cindy) Studer.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Constance (Connie) Bryan; parents: George and Helen Studer; brother: Ray (Elaine) Studer and her sister Judy Cherry.

Dorene was famous for making the best chocolate chip cookies for birthdays and holidays.  She was her grandchildren’s biggest fan and loved spending time with them.  She volunteered at her church’s food pantry and loved reading romance novels. Dorene will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 8:30 am to 11:00 am with chapel services to begin at 11:00 am at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, Illinois with burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL.
