Donna J Rial

Donna J. Rial, age 64, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 19, 2010 surrounded by her family at University of Wisconsin Hospital at Madison. She is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, James Rial, Jr; her loving sons, James A. Rial III and Scott (Janis) Rial; her beloved grandchildren, Molly, Allison ""Allie"", and Meredith Rial; her brothers Richard (Kathy) Laya and Charles Laya; her mother-in-law Helen (nee Miller) Rial; and aunts, uncles, sisters and brothers-in-law, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by her parents, Joseph and Elsie Mae (nee Huffman) Laya, and her father-in-law James Rial, Sr. Donna taught in Flossmoor and Plainfield schools, as well as did home tutoring. Her grandchildren were a great joy in her life, and she cherished longtime close family friends Karen and Hans Bayer. A Celebration of Donna"s life will be held on Friday September 24, 2010 at Lemont United Methodist Church, 25 W Custer Street, Lemont, IL, at 10 AM, Rev. Anne Utterback officiating. According to Donna"s wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Inurnment will take place at Plainfield Township Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
