Donald A. Nasenbenny Age 78
Of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Joliet, passed away peacefully January 27, 2010. Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Faye (nee Grant); daughter Gayle (Brian)Boggetto of Shorewood, son Dane (Mary) Nasenbenny of LaGrange, IL; loving & awesome grandchildren Katie and Grace Nasenbenny, and Collin, Grant, and Tyler Boggetto; one sister Louise (late Edward) Stonich; brothers Gerald (Dolores) and Thomas (late Jo Ann) Nasenbeny, mother-in-law Lucille Grant Hollum, brothers-in-law James (Geri) Grant, Ronald (Beverly) DeJule, and Leo (late Marie) Ficarella, and sisters-in-law Florence (late James) Nasenbenny, Lois (LaVerne) Korell, and Cindy (Jon) Larson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents Kervin and Louise (Horvat) Nasenbeny, brothers Albert in infancy, Rudolph (late Frances), Leonard (late Dorothy), Robert (late Lucille) and James, one sister Marie Ficarella; and Arlene (nee DeJule) Nasenbenny .
Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather (Papa), and a gentleman with a great sense of humor. He was a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School, employed at US Steel (37 years), a Korean War Veteran, member of American Legion Post 1080, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 300, Seniors Club of Joliet, and a Lifetime member of VFW Cantigny Post and The Moran AC. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 9:30 AM to St. Paul Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
