Donald Henry Hubert

Donald Henry Hubert, age 78, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2022 in New Mexico.

Donald graduated in 1962 from Joliet Catholic High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and went on to own his own handyman business following his military involvement. Donald was a Chicago Cubs fan through and through. One of his most cherished moments was sharing the same birthday as his daughter, May 13. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, who recently passed on April 7, 2022, Lorie Hubert; and his parents: Henry and Frances Stonitch (Erjavec) Hubert.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter: Denise (Mike) George, and grandchildren: Tyler, Dylan and Abby George.

Per Donald's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.

The family will receive friends and relatives for a memorial visitation on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet. The funeral will then drive in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Joliet for a graveside service. Donald will be laid to rest with his wife, Lorie.
