Age 82. At rest Saturday May 28, 2011 at Meadowbrook Manor in Bolingbrook. Born and resided in Earlville, Il before moving to the Danville area. Donald was a veteran of the United States Navy serving as an Electrician"s Mate (EM1). He was also a member of the Earlville American Legion Post #549, and a member of the Fleet Reserve Association. Donald was well liked, and made many friends.
Survived by 5 sisters; Barbara (late Woodrow) Brown of Fairfax, VA, Betty (late Robert) Kambic of Joliet, June Sharp of Earlville, Il, Greta (late Joseph) Sinchak of Joliet, Il, Georgia (Paul) Philippe of Maldon, Il. One brother, John (Ginger) Hill of Livermore, CA. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Ella Hill, 2 sisters; Virginia Meyers of Joliet, Il. And Doris Smith of Earlville, Il. One brother Russell Hill of Leland, Il.

Private funeral services for Donald W. Hill were held on Thursday June 9, 2011 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Il.
