Dolores Sanchez (nee Duran) Age 62
At rest Saturday March 13, 2010 at her late residence. Survived by her loving husband of 26 years Carlos Sanchez, daughter Yvette (Carlos) Duran Cruz, mother Angela (nee Chavez) Duran, four sisters Yolanda, Cynthia, Diana Duran and Yvonne Gutierrez., three brothers Teofilo Jr., Lorenzo and Leo Duran, four grandchildren Sandy Cruz, Sasha Cruz Olsen, Shawn and Nicole Cruz, three great grandchildren Damien and Devon Olsen and Aisha Field. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Her two special friends Pumpkin and Corky. Preceded in death by her father Teofilo Duran. Retired from the Cook County Department of Corrections December 27, 2008. If only tears could build a stairway, And memories could build a lane, I"d walk right up to heaven, And bring you home again. Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 20, 2010 at the funeral home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Salvador Guerro of Seed of Life Church officiating. Visitation Friday from 2 to 8 PM.
