Dolores B. Gomez
June 5, 1932 — March 11, 2015
Dolores B. Gomez (nee Jaso), age 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with her loving family by her side.
Dolores is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, David; loving children, David (Kathy), Leonard, and Vincent (Amy) Gomez; cherished grandchildren, Mike and Kara Gomez, Gary and Greg Gomez.
Preceded in death by her daughter at infancy, Adele.
Dolores was employed at Sam’s Club in Joliet for 15 years. She was a longtime parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Dolores will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A Celebration of Dolores’ life will begin with a visitation on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd., Joliet, IL 60435. A chapel service will be held at 5:30 p.m.; Certified Celebrant, Ken Plese officiating. Per Dolores’ wishes cremation rites will be accorded.
