At rest on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at his late residence with his loving wife by his side.
Survived by his wife of 19 years Toni (nee Benson) Fisher; children Rebecca (Tony) Paoletti, Jessica (Anthony Thompson) Pugh and Jennifer; five grandchildren Mariah, Anthony, Gianna, Valerie and Jacob; sisters Claudine, Lonnie and Jackie. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents Earl and Margaret (nee Williams) Fisher.
Member of the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment in Benning, Georgia. U.S. Army Veteran served in the Vietnam War (1969-71). D.J. had a "Fisher Tribe" of friends who became his Family, they will miss him dearly. "He"s Gone Fishing."

A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 6:00 PM. Visitation will also be on Wednesday from 1-7 PM. Cremation rites will be accorded.
