Dioscoro F. Hernandez ""Pablito"" Age 85. At rest Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at Edward's Hospital in Naperville. Loving father of Rosemarie (Rueben) Garcia, Joseph (Linda) Hernandez, Gladys Costos, Shirlene (Henry) Gonzalez, Juanita Lopez, Margaret (Paul) Lopez, and Jacqueline (Frank) Bati. Dearest grandfather of 22 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Afra (late Luciano) Carreno, Glafida (late Refugio) Vega, Nunila (Jesus) Garcia, and Taide (Daniel) Garcia; five brothers, Jorge (Letica), Goar (Berta), Nahum, Arath (Guillermina), and Aaron (Dolores) Hernandez. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his wife, Mildred M. (nee Ayola) Hernandez. A son, Paul Gilbert Hernandez. His parents, Jose J. and Aurelia (nee Flores) Hernandez. Two brothers, Raul and Nahum Hernandez. Dioscorco was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and has resided in Joliet since 1947. He retired in 1985 as an engineer from Prairie State Paper Mill. He was also very active in civic, community, and church organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dioscoro F. Hernandez to Mt. Carmel Building fund would be appreciated. Carmel Church on Jackson St. for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation and Video Tribute will be Friday from 4-8 p.m.
