Diane Richied

Diane Richied (nee Ashcraft), age 73, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 with her loving family by her side.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Rita (Mike) Johns; one brother Glen "Jake" (Evelyn) Ashcraft; sisters-in-law, Ely, Judy and Rita. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary (nee Marvel) Ashcraft; her siblings, Jack, Carl (Martha) Ashcraft, Maralee (John) Coburger, Shirley, Gerald, Dean and Ronald Ashcraft.
Diane retired from Quantum Chemical after over 20 years of service. She was a proud United States Navy Veteran. Diane enjoyed camping, animals, playing cards, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and generous spirit who will be truly missed.
A celebration of Diane's life will begin on Saturday, November 9, 2013 with a service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens and Cemetery in Schererville, IN. Visitation will be on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet.
