Diane M. (Meeks) Ray

Diane M. Ray (nee Meeks), age 65, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Diane is survived by her son, Larry Nielsen; brothers, Doug (Sharon), Dan (Stephanie), and Mark Meeks.

Preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Z. Ray; son, Todd M. Ray; parents, Daniel J. Meeks and Winifred May Harry-Meeks.

Diane was a loving sister. She opened her heart to a lot of children who needed guidance and a mother figure.

Donations in Diane’s name to Huntington’s Disease Society of America (hdsa.org) would be greatly appreciated.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, Doctors, Nurses, and Staff, and her extended family for the care, love, and support provided throughout the years.

Services will be private. Per Diane’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
