Diane Doerfler (nee Lukich), age 87, entered into eternal life on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
Diane is survived by her loving daughter, Sandy (Jerry) Frankovich; cherished grandchildren, Jana (Ron) Potter and Jay Frankovich; cherished great-granddaughter, Abigail Potter; dear nephew, Michael (Janice) Lukich; great-nephew, Steven Lukich.
Preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Bertha Lukich; sister, Mildred ( Steven ) Penovich; brother, Donald Lukich ; and dear friend, Emil Meader.
Diane retired from GAF as director of human resources as well as retiring from Will County Forest Preserve. She was a lifetime and founding member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. Diane enjoyed gardening, dancing, and traveling. She cherished her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Diane’s name to St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 3457 Black Road, Joliet, IL 60435 would be greatly appreciated.
Funeral Services for Diane will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. Interment to follow at Elmhurst Cemetery.
There will be no services held at the funeral home.
