Diana K. Krush

Diana K. Krush, age 67, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

Diana is survived by her children, Lori Howard, Joe (Danielle Kuzmyak) Krush and David C. (Michelle G.) Krush; grandchildren, Alyssa Tapia, Joey Krush, Jose Santiago, Sebastian Howard, Pavlinka Diana Marie Krush, and Lily A. Krush; siblings, Roger Stevens and Linda (Jim) Evans; beloved cats, Kitty Marie and Emma Lou; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Krush Sr.; son in infancy, Timmy Stevens; parents, Arthur and Betsy Stevens and brother, Richard Stevens.

Diana was born in Laporte, Indiana and moved to Chicago by herself when she was 18 years old. She struggled early on in life, but that did not stop her from pursuing her dreams. Diana graduated from Chicago State University earning her bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Her hard work and dedication to her education removed her family from poverty to give them a better life and an exceptional role model. Diana was always there for her children emotionally and financially. She loved her grandchildren dearly. Diana worked as a nurse at Loretto Hospital in Chicago. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Diana’s life will begin on Saturday, February 17, 2018 with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services to begin at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
