Age 60. At rest Monday February 6, 2012 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Preceded in death by his father, Andrew J. Prieboy.
Survived by his loving wife, Jane P. (nee Sefcik) Prieboy; a step-daughter, Heather Prieboy; his loving mother, Mary Ann (nee Lajcin) Prieboy; 2 brothers, Andrew (Judy) Prieboy of Plainfield, and Tony (Carla) Prieboy of South Carolina. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.
Dennis was born in Joliet and lived in Plainfield since 1984. He was a man of many careers. Dennis was a Lineman for Com Ed and L.E. Meyers Co., also worked for E. J.&E. and Union Pacific Railroads. Dennis was also employed as an electrician for Mobile Oil Co. and worked as an Instrument Tech for Westinghouse and an Instrument Specialist for the Dial Corporation for 14 years. Most recently, Dennis was an OTR truck driver for Quality Carriers. Dennis was an avid fisherman, and took his gear and poles everywhere he went.
As per DennisA�??s final request, Cremation Rites were accorded, and funeral services were private.
