Dennis J. Adkisson

Age 61, at rest Saturday December 28, 2013

Survived by his wife of 33 years, Diane Adkisson (nee Polyak); two sons Edward and Kenneth (Autumn) Adkisson, one grandson Caius Adkisson, brother Wayne J. (Isabel) Adkisson; father- in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Dorothy Polyak, as well as aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Rita Adkisson.

Dennis graduated Joliet Central Township High School Class of 1970. He attended Joliet Junior College. He was a Member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill, KSKJ Lodge #108, Plainfield Civil Defense and Iron Workers Local #444 where he had been a member since 1979. Dennis enjoyed Scuba Diving and Golfing. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him especially his faithful companion, Buster the beagle.

A celebration of Dennis' life will begin with a memorial visitation on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Tezak Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 noon; Fr. John Doyle officiating.
