David W. Todorovich

David W. Todorovich, age 60, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 25, 2018, after a 10 year battle with cancer.

Survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sharon (Fosnaugh); Son, Brad (Robin) of Mishawaka, IN and two adored grandsons, Daniel and Michael. Brothers, Bob (Joan) of Lakeville, MN and Jeff (Gelana) of Allen, TX. In-laws, Carl (Bernie) Fosnaugh of New Lenox and brother and sister-in-law Chris (Diane) Fosnaugh of Lockport. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Winnie Todorovich and a nephew, Brandon Fosnaugh.

Dave was born and raised in Joliet, graduating from Joliet West High School and Northern Illinois University. He was retired from Dr. Pepper/Snapple where he worked for 39 years. He was also an organist for several area churches, serving at St. Patrick’s in Joliet for 17 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Father Dick Allen Council #10926 in New Lenox. Dave was a quiet man who truly loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved being out on the lake with a line in the water or playing with his ever faithful companion, Jack. Dave was, simply, a nice guy. He never once complained despite all he endured during his long fight, but was always concerned first about his wife and family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery in Crest Hill.
