David L. Papesh

David L. Papesh, ""Dave"", of San Diego, CA died on Sunday, July 24, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident. He was 39. He is survived by his loving mother Sharon (Roger) Ice of North Port, FL and loving father David (Denise) Papesh of Joliet IL.; maternal grandfather Tony (Marilyn) Jadron, loving aunts and uncles Lana Papesh, Joseph Papesh, Mary Ellen Papesh, and Janet (Thomas) Diamond, great uncle Fr. Casimir Zielinski, O. Carm. of Nokomis FL, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Joseph D. and Wanda R. (nee Zielinski) Papesh, maternal grandmother Mary Lou (nee Rydman) Jadron and an uncle David Jadron. Dave graduated from Joliet Catholic High School and received his degree from Northern Illinois University, where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Employed as a licensed private investigator, he also was a member of a crew that moved sail boats internationally. Dave"s greatest passion was surfing which took him to places like Costa Rica, Chile, Baja, Mexico and Brazil searching for the perfect wave. He was a great fan of all sports and he especially loved playing golf. Dave was a free spirit with a great sense of humor. He will be sadly missed. A Celebration of Dave"s Life will be held on Saturday, July 30 with a memorial visitation from 1 ""A�?? 5 PM and then a memorial service at 5 PM at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
