David S. Holland

David S. Holland, age 51, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018.

David is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Maria Holland (nee DelRose); parents, Billy and Janet Holland; brother, Dan Holland; sister, Danette (the late Billy) McFarland; Mother-in-law, Cissy Leasure; beloved fur-babies, Levi, Matilda, and Sadie; special niece, Sarah May; dear friends, Ron and Erika Noble; and close cousin, Tommy Holland; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and loving friends.

Preceded in death by his close brother-in-law, Billy McFarland (10/09/2018).

David was raised in Crest Hill and was a resident of Joliet for the past 27 years.  He was a graduate of Lockport High School and worked for Mauser (formerly Ropak) for the past 30 years.  David was an avid hunter and loved his ’66 Chevelle.  He was best known for his sense of humor and his love of animals. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of David’s life will begin on Saturday, December 8, 2018 with a memorial service to be held at 9:30 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
