David Castaneda

David Castaneda "Hudgie," Age 86, entered eternal life on Thursday, January 23, 2014 with his loving family by his side.
Dave was born on May 7, 1927 in Toledo, OH. He was raised in Argentine, KS and moved to Chicago, IL in 1948 where he and his wife, Mary resided until moving to Crest Hill, IL in 2002.
Dave is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Mary L. "Candy" (nee Guillen); brother, Joe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and fond friends.
Preceded in death by his sons, David M., Rick; and daughter, Elaine "Elena."
Dave loved to bowl and play pool. Most of all he loved his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

A Celebration of David's life will begin on Monday, January 27, 2014 with a visitation in the funeral home chapel from 12:30 p.m. until the time of funeral service to begin at 4:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, 60435. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Per David's wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
