Age 77, at rest with the Lord, May 28, 2009 at his home in Naperville, IL surrounded by his family. Survived by his loving and devoted wife Maud (Mickey) nee Henniger. his children, Karen (Shawn) Hughes, Melrose Park, IL, Darwyn Michael (Blanca) Johnson, Guatemala, CA and Konnie (Thomas) Pucel, Channahon, IL, daughter-in-law Lori (Johnson) Linn. Formerly of Wilmington, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents Gladys Brown and Eric Johnson, Carolyn nee Rutter his beloved wife of 37 years and his sons Mitchell (Lori Linn) Johnson and Mark (late Kristie Coveny) Johnson. Grandfather to Elizabeth (Cristian) Monterosso, Cara Johnson, Cale (Meredith) Johnson-Coveny, Jeff Brown, Michael Johnson, Casey (Sarah) Johnson-Coveny, Adam Pucel, Jacob Hughes, and Ryan Pucel; Great-Grandfather to Dorothea and Penina Coveny, Saydi Coveny and Christian Monterroso Johnson. Moon, an avid golfer and lifelong Cub fan, retired in 1994 from Argonne National Laboratory after 35 years of service Supervising the Receiving and Stores system, and Past Postmaster of the Argonne Post Office. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 2-5 PM.
