Darlene M. Kazak (nee Klobucher), age 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 22, 2018 with her family by her side.
Darlene is survived by her loving children; Daniel, Donald (Cathy) and Kenneth (Jill) Kazak, grandchildren; Gregory (Emily), Steven, Samantha, Keith, Michael (Larissa), Jeffrey and Andrew Kazak, great-grandchildren; Mason and Emmett Kazak, and sister, Linda (Angelo) Sallese. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Adam J. (Ksiazak) Kazak, parents; Frank Klobucher and Mary (nee Bartak) (Adolph) Rositch, and brother, Donald Klobucher.
Darlene was a lifelong resident of Joliet, a longtime member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, a member of the CCW, the bunco club, a volunteer at the Rialto over 25 years, member of the Catholic Slovak Ladies Society and dedicated member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church.
Darlene enjoyed vacations, especially her annual trips to Acapulco. She was a dedicated homemaker and loved to work in her flower gardens. Darlene will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Donations in Darlene’s name to St. Ambrose Church or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
A celebration of Darlene’s life will begin on Saturday, January 27, 2018 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Crest Hill, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery in Joliet. Visitation will be on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Obituary and Tribute Wall for Darlene M.
