"Dan"
Age 45 of Plainfield, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020, from non-Covid pneumonia at Amita Health Adventist Medical Center in Bolingbrook.
Born August 2, 1975 in Hinsdale, Daniel Joseph was a son of James Quinlan and Sharon (Whitson) Quinlan. Dan was a lifelong Illinois resident and was raised in Bolingbrook, IL, where he served as an altar server at St. Francis of Assisi parish, attended Jane Addams Middle School and graduated from Romeoville High School in 1993. He was employed by Jewel grocery stores for over twenty-seven years.
Dan was renowned for his unmistakable wit, gentle and good natured spirit, and sincerity. He enjoyed playing chess, listening to music, and making his family and friends laugh and smile.
Dan is survived by his mother: Sharon Quinlan (nee Whitson); brothers: Patrick (Michelle) and Michael Quinlan; niece and nephew: Kyla and Evan Quinlan; uncle: Gary (Janie) Whitson; cousins: Richard (LeeAnn), Elizabeth, and Mark (Cheryl) Quinlan, as well as numerous friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, James Quinlan.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a memorial visitation on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until time of memorial service beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road in Joliet. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing practices are required.
A private interment will follow services.
