Dale E. Ishmael

Dale E. Ishmael, age 64, passed into heaven on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Dale was born on March 7, 1958 to the late Clinton and Mary Louise Ishmael.

He was a loving and devoted husband and father. Dale was an avid fisherman and guitar player who loved nothing more than spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Violet A. (Weiss) Ishmael; son, Buck W. Ishmael; and Michael Llyod who also called him dad; brothers, Jack (Bernadette) Gilmore of West Plains, MO, Clinton (Sandra) Ishmael of Joliet, IL and Tony Ishmael of Joliet, IL; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Mary Louise; and his dear fishing buddy, Kenny Riddell.

Gone to heaven and never forgotten. Dale will always remain in our hearts, until we meet again.

A celebration of Dale’s life will begin on Monday, February 13, 2023 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 6:30 p.m. Per Dale’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded following services.
