Passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 1, 2009 at her late residence. Survived by her oldest child, Jordan Thurston and twin boys, Jayden and Jamari Croswell; her mother, Linda (Jim) Doty; step-brother, Jeff Doty; step-sister, Dana Doty; fiancA�?A�AC., Russell Croswell; uncle, Eddie Helton; great-aunts and uncles, Jim and Ceil Helton; great-cousins Cheryl, David and Annette. Also survived by numerous friends, especially Connie, Reka, Dee and Mick, family friend Bill, her boss, Robin and the family dog, Duchess. Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jack D. and Imogene Helton; great-uncle, Gerald Helton and her father, Scott Thurston. Crystal managed the I-55 Truck Stop in Bolingbrook; winning the manager of the year award in 2008. In lieu of flowers, donations to be used according to the family's wishes.
The Family of Crystal Thurston would like to invite relatives and friends to join them for a chapel service on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 12-9 PM.
