Congetta ""Connie"" R. Wicevic nee Lazzaro, 88, of Shorewood, formerly of Joliet, passed away April 12, 2011. Survived by her loving husband Lawrence G. Wicevic, her children Lauren Wicevic, Russell (Patricia), Nancy Gross, Catherine (Richard) Cambere and Marie Nichols; grandchildren Vito, Adrian and Jasmine Wicevic, Bernard and Benjamin Gross, Claire and Carmel Nichols; her great grandson Wyatt J. Gross; sister Grace (the late Tony) Fazio and sister-in-law Connie Lazzaro. She was preceded in death by her parents Guiseppe and Vincenza (Mary) Lazzaro, brothers Russell (Marjel) and Joseph Lazzaro. She was a member of St. Ambrose Church and CCW. She was devoted to the Blessed Mother and prayed the rosary daily. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL. A celebration of Connie"s life will begin on Saturday, April 16 at 10:30 am with prayers at the funeral home chapel then in procession to St. Ambrose Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.
