Claritta Ann Parker

Claritta Ann Parker (nee Rutkiewicz) of Joliet passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10th at Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility in Naperville after a long illness. Clare was born April 9, 1933 in Lockport, IL.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John L. Parker; mother, Ruby Jackson; stepfather, Melvin Jackson; and brother, Gerald Rutkiewicz.

Clare is survived by her children, Kevin Parker, Kathleen (John) Tessier, Bonnie (Richard) Berg, Brian (Lisa) Parker, Jeffrey (Leigh Ann) Parker and Julie (John) O'Brien. She is the cherished grandmother of 15; and great-grandmother of 12. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Clare loved spending time with her friends and family. She will be truly missed.

A Celebration of Clare's life will begin on Saturday, August 15, 2015 with a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 18 Woodlawn Avenue, Joliet, IL 60435. Private entombment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. There will be no visitation or services held at the funeral home.
