Clarence A. Wedic
Age 94, at rest Thursday April 15, 2010 at the Joliet Hospice Home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Survived by his loving and devoted son James (Jean) Wedic of Shorewood,IL., loving grandchildren, Laura (Dave) Anderson, Jim (Jenny) Wedic, loving great grandchildren Joshua and Brittany Anderson and Briana and Myles Wedic, brother-in-law Robert Fabek, sisters-in-law Marie (late Tom) Fabek, Rita (late Charles) Fabek and Delores Fabek, special niece Delores Murphy also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by his wife Victoria (nee Fabek) Wedic (2004), parents Frank and Catherine (nee Terlep) Wedic, three sisters Mary Wedic at infancy, Catherine Suhadolc, Justine Kouzlaric, six brothers Frank, Ralph, Joseph, Max, Stanley and William Wedic. Clarence was born in Joliet and a resident of the Timbers of Shorewood for the past eight years. He retired in 1981 from G.A.F after 45 years of service, member of Moran A. C. and Holy Family Society, he enjoyed singing and playing his Harmonica for birthdays, sing alongs and church at the Timbers. He will be missed by his many friends at the Timbers. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and care givers at the Timbers and also to the Joliet Area Community Hospice especially to Madaline, Mary and Pam for their excellent care. The family would be greateful for memorials in Clarences name to Joliet Area Community Hospice.
A Celebration of Clarence A. Wedic"s Life will begin with a Visitation at the funeral home on Monday morning, April 19, 2010 at 9:30 AM until the Chapel service at 11AM. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
