Age 92, at rest Thursday, April 30, 2009, Provena Villa Franciscan. Survived by daughter, Dianne (fiancA�?A�AC.e Chris Urioste); brother, Joseph (late Charlotte) (Charlotte Ligos) Kropinski; sister, Loretta (late Alex) Wojtak; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and good friend, Emily Schauer, also survive. Preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Pauline (Sweda) Kropinski; her husband, Elvyn Planing, 1967; brothers, Walter (late Eunice) Kropinski, and Edward Kropinski in WWII; sisters, Catherine, Frances (late Joseph) Verklan; nephew, Robert Kropinski. Worked at Gerlach Barklow, Navy Yards and retired from Friedrich Bindery. She loved baking and was noted for her chocolate chip cookies, potica and cake decorating. She was a regular at McDonalds, Plainfield Rd., Crest Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Masses in her name would be appreciated. A special thank you to the nurses, aides and staff at Provena Villa Franciscan for their loving care.
Family invites relatives and friends to join them for Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 11:30 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 127 S. Briggs St. Joliet, IL. Clara will lie in state at St. Mary Magdalene Church Saturday from 10:30 AM until time of service. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
