Cheryl L. Korte (Nee Smallwood)
age 59, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2011 with her family by her side. Survived by her son Ryan(Amanda) Korte, step-mother Mariann Smallwood, three sisters Cindy Derry, Linda (Hank) Wilkins, and Pam Senesac, two brothers Charles Smallwood and Alan (Chardell) Smallwood, uncle Don (Sharon) Younker, numerous nieces and nephews, and longtime boyfriend Jim Machak. Also survived by her loving pet Holly.
She was preceded in death by her parents Marilyn (nee Younker) and Warren Smallwood.
Cheryl loved flowers and gardening, her birds and chipmunks, crafts and all of the outdoors, and her beloved Chicago Cubs.
Per her wishes, cremation will follow A Celebration of Cheryl"s Life that will held on Friday, August 19 with a chapel service at 7 PM. Visitation will be from 2 PM until time of service.
