Age 47, at rest Saturday October 8, 2011 at her home with her family by her side.
Survived by her beloved husband of 25 years Tom Cerven, loving mother of Tommy, Katelyn and Alexis Cerven, dearest parents Carl and Marie(nee Kubat)Swick, mother-in-law Dorothy(late Thomas) Cerven, one brother Tim(Karrie)Swick, sisters and brothers-in-law Ted(Lisa), Joe(Lisa)Cerven and Jeannie(Mike)Groen, dear friends Brenda Briscoe, Shirley Koppen and Cheryl Cottle. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Cheryl was born in Berwyn, IL. and resided in Minooka for the past twenty years. Graduate class of 1982 Lockport TWP High School.
She was an avid fan of Minooka Baseball and Stone City Softball. Donations in CherylA�??s name to St. MaryA�??s Minooka building fund would be appreciated. CherylA�??s warm smile will be missed by everyone. Special thanks to Joliet Area Community Hospice.
A Celebration of Cheryl M. Cerven Life will held on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, starting with prayers at the funeral home at 9AM, then in procession to St. MaryA�??s Church in Minooka for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3 to 9PM at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
