Charlotte B. Wysocki (nee Janiszewski), age 92, entered into eternal life on Monday, February 22, 2016.
Charlotte is survived by her loving children, William (Sandra) Wysocki, John (Linda) Wysocki, Barbara (Ken) Lundberg, and Kimberly (Patrick) Wysocki-Buss; cherished grandchildren, Edward (Dorann), Micheal (Lisa), and Steven (Lisa) Wysocki, James Wysocki, Robert (Jennifer) Wysocki, and Julie (Jon) McClain, Jennifer (Tony) Lombardo and Jake Holmes; and 13 cherished great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond (1985); parents, Edward, and Pelagia (nee Rycharski) Janiszewski; and brother, Jan Janis.
Born in 1923 in Poland, Charlotte immigrated to the United States when she was 11 years old. She became a lifelong resident of Joliet, IL. She was a longtime parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed the riverboats. Most of all, Charlotte was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlotte’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, would be greatly appreciated.
A Celebration of Charlotte’s life will begin on Thursday, February 25, 2016 with a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Joliet at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Joliet. There will be no services held at the funeral home.
