Charlotte Jo Lindskog

Charlotte Jo Lindskog, age 70, entered into Eternal Life on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 with her loving family by her side.

Charlotte is survived by her loving children, Frank (JoAnne) Parisi, Tony (Barb) Parisi, Jeri (Mike) Layfield and Cindy Parisi; grandchildren, Michael, Morgan (Fiancé Alex), Frankie, Lauren, Paige, Anthony and Joey; siblings, Jerry (the late Margie) Lindskog, Barbara (the late Scott) Parisi, Carol May and Joe (Cheryl) Lindskog; special cousin, Donna Jean Burnette; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and faithful companion, Spanky.

Preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Alice (nee Filice) Lindskog; special grandmother, Josephine Priest; and brother, Ron Lindskog.

Charlotte was a proud High School Homecoming Queen. She was a hard worker her entire life and was a loving mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to her family and had a strong Christian faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family and an occasional visit to the casino. She will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlotte’s name to Joliet Area Community Hospice or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Narula and the entire Cancer Team at Silver Cross Hospital.

A celebration of Charlotte’s life will begin on Friday, April 7, 2017 with a visitation at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service to be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Cemetery Chapel. Interment of cremated remains will be held privately. Per Charlotte’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
