Charles E. Zola

Charles "Chuck" E. Zola, 65, of Joliet, passed away October 22, 2011. Beloved husband of Kathleen "Pinkie" nee Swan; loving father of Missie Zola and Ami Zola; dear grandfather of Kaelie (Tim Mitchell) Karales; brother of Catherine "Kay" (Jerry) Petersen and JoAnn (Jesse) Fonseca; brother-in-law of Lorraine Zola; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Anna Zola, his brothers John and Sonny Zola, his sisters Helen and Veronica in infancy, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Chuck retired from Gerdau Ameri Steel in 2010, and he was an avid Nascar fan.
A Celebration of Chuck's life will begin on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 11 am at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from
4-8 PM at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
