Charles Paul Yuretich

Charles P. Yuretich was 66 years young when he went to be with his daughter, Kathleen Marie Yuretich and God, on August 16, 2007. He was with his family when he died suddenly. He leaves behind his wife, children, many grandchildren, adopted grandchildren, countless cousins and close friends. He was the son of Charles Paul Sr. and Sophie (nee Karpiak) Yuretich. Chuck was born on March 9, 1942 in Berwyn IL. He attended St. Mel"s grade school in Lyons and Lyons Township High School. In February of 1964, he married Patricia A. Gallagher. They had three children; Colleen (Gary) Grandowski, William (Vicki) Yuretich and the late Kathleen Marie Yuretich. He graduated from IIT in 1974 in Computer Programming and worked for International Harvester/Navistar. He retired from there in March of 2006. In his spare time, Chuck spent countless hours with his many grandchildren: Virginia, Billy, Hunter, Tony, Bobby and Nate Yuretich; Justin, Drew, Paige and Arin Grandowski. He enjoyed being with them and taking them to the house in Michigan where they could go boating and relax at the lake. Most of his enjoyment came from just watching the kids have fun at the lake. Chuck, a friend to many, would do anything to help anyone and was always there to be a grandpa to anyone who needed one.
