Charles H. Smith Jr., age 62, at peace on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 with his loving family by his side.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 6.5 years, Char Smith; 2 step-sons, Michael (Barbara) and Brian (Chrissy) Wells; Step-granddaughter, Caitlyn Wells; sisters, Candy (David) Dolinsky-Wrobel, Judy (Steve) Moore; one brother; nephew, John Dolinsky; nieces, Angela Smith and Taylor Moore; dear friends, Michelle and Samantha Santerelli; and his loving puppies, Brandy, Coco and Princess.
Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Smith.
Charles was employed at the Hollywood Casino in Joliet for 15 years as a security officer. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to play golf. He will be dearly missed.
In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be greatly appreciated.
Visitation for Charles will be on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3-7 p.m. Per Charles' wishes cremation rites will be respectfully addressed.
