Charles Scott King, 84, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022.
A beloved teacher for many years at St. Francis Academy (now J.C.A.). Charles was a devoted rail fan at Illinois Railway Museum in Union, IL, A secular Franciscan at St. John’s parish in Joliet, he enjoyed St. Joe’s picnics in the summer. He will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia King; brother Gary King as well as his parents; Charles and Violet King.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter; Marianne (Kenneth) Borio, Teresa Chiletz (Fiancé’ Brian Blood), granddaughter, Claire Chiletz and sister-in-law, Darlene King.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd., Joliet from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. with the funeral procession departing shortly after for a chapel service at Elmhurst Cemetery, 1212 E Washington St, Joliet, IL
