Charles J. Franze Jr., age 54, at rest on Tuesday, September 17, 2013.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Janice (nee Lennett) Franze; his sister, Marjean Franze; his parents, Charles Sr. and Margaret (nee Ancel) Franze; numerous nephews, cousins and one niece also survive.
Chuck was a proud United States Navy Veteran. He served from January 1977 to March of 1981. Chuck was a structural mechanic and hydraulics man for aircraft, he was also a flight engineer and flew sea/air rescue. After serving in the military Chuck held various jobs until becoming a valve mechanic. Chuck was a beloved husband, son and brother who will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers donations in Charles name may be made to any Veterans Organization of your choice.
A Celebration of Charles' life will begin on Saturday, September 21, 2013 with a memorial visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Joliet.
