At rest on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Survived by his sister, Doris L. Babich; nieces, Kathleen Zeller, Lorene Taylor, Sandra Carmon, Jari Vanek, Patricia Dzuiban and Carol Simson; nephews, Raymond Rock, William Cox, Victor N. Benson III, James N. Benson; one sister-in-law, Mildred (late Anthony) Babich; also survived by many great-nieces, nephews and cousins, and great-great-nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Catherine (nee Krasevac) Babich; three brothers, Anthony (Mildred), Joseph V. (late Loretta) and John Babich; seven sisters, Catherine (late George Sr.) Sichta, Anna (late Alexander) Rock, Frances (late Vincent) Rock, Rose (late Edward) Cox, Angela Wawczak, Clara Benson and Mary (late Carl) Schoening.
Veteran of the U.S. Army the European Theatre WWII stationed in England, France and Germany. Retired from GAF Corporation. Chuck raised pigeons and raced them for enjoyment. He also enjoyed fishing with his brother, Anthony. Member of the Moran A.C.
The family would like to thank Dr. William Stapleton and his nurse Laura for their compassion and care during Charles' illness.
