Born on September 2, 1913. Catherine passed away on Monday, November 5, 2007 at Our Lady of Angels after residing there for the past 3 years.
Survived by nieces and nephews: Jean Nedelsky, Jeanne (William) Offerman, Barbara (Larry) Williams, Rosalyn (Ted) Hylek, Maryann (Hal) Henry, Valerie (Michael) Rubler, Carol (Frank) Mellen, Bill (Jan) Gora, and Mike (Judy) Brnicky; as well as three generations of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her mother Catherine Gora, father Frank Pajak and step-father John Gora; sisters Sophie (Michael) Nedelsky, Victoria (Andrew) Brnicky and Stephany (Peter) Passas; brother John (Marie) Gora.
Catherine was a lifetime member of St. Thaddeus Catholic Church until its closing in 2005. Retired from Rainbow Bakery (1977) after 30+ years of service.
A special thank you to the entire staff from Our Lady of Angels and Joliet Area Community Hospice for their devoted care to Catherine.

Funeral Service for Catherine Pajak will be held at Our Lady of Angels, 1201 Wyoming St. Joliet on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 10:30 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday at Our Lady of Angels beginning at 9:00 AM.
