Catherine Maticic (nee Prasch) passed away peacefully, at her home, on February 7,2024, leaving behind a remarkable legacy and countless cherished memories. Born on March 20, 1957, Catherine lived a life filled with love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to her family.
Catherine's greatest joy in life came from spending precious moments with her beloved family and their three adored dogs, Leo, Felix, and Callie. Her family meant everything to her, and her love and devotion were evident in every interaction she had with them. Catherine's warm embrace and caring nature will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her presence.
Professionally, Catherine excelled in her career at the Morey Corporation for an impressive span of 48 years. Her passion for work was evident in her longstanding commitment to the company. Throughout the years, Catherine not only achieved professional milestones but formed lifelong friendships along the way. Her amiable personality and strong work ethic made her an asset to the organization where she left an indelible mark.
On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, Catherine peacefully entered eternal rest. Although her physical presence is no longer with us, her memory will forever live on through the lives she touched.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents Edward R. Prasch and Carol (nee Reilly) Prasch; as well as her brothers John Michael and Michael Eugene Prasch.
Left to cherish her memory are Catherine's loving husband Peter; her devoted siblings Ed, Carol, Bill (Linda), Bob (Debbie), and John Prasch; as well as her nephews Adam (Megan), Blake, and Logan Prasch. Catherine's nieces Sarah Prasch, Meghan (Brad) Bowman, and Abby Prasch, along with her great-nephew Colton Bowman, will forever hold fond memories of their dear aunt.
Catherine Maticic (nee Prasch) was a remarkable woman known for her unwavering dedication to her loved ones and her impressive commitment to her work. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy that will be carried on by those who were lucky enough to have known her. Catherine's kindness, love, and passion for life will continue to inspire all who were touched by her remarkable presence.

Per Catherine’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. She will be laid to rest privately at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
