Age 91. At rest Thursday November 2, 2006 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Loving mother of Kathleen (Thomas) Long-necker, Gloria Goebel and Donald (Uamporn ""Tick"") Goebel; dearest grandmother of Lori (Ronald) Campbell, Bradley and Sheri Longnecker, Julie (Deji) Washington, Todd (Kellie) Shawn and Brian (Krystle) Goebel; great-grandmother of Daniel, Nicole and Debra Campbell, Amanda Longnecker and Allie Washington. Also surviving are one brother Edward (late Alice) Schutter, numerous nieces, nephews and special caregiver Zoryana. Preceded by her husband Raymond Goebel (1975), one son in infancy Raymond, parents Frederick and Margaret (Nee Martin) Schutter, one sister Margaret Eich, five brothers Joseph, Elmer and Robert Schutter and two in infancy. Catherine was born in Joliet and a life-long resident. She retired from J.E. Messenger after more than 25 years of service. Catherine was a member of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 1080, past member of Sacred Heart League of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Tezak Funeral Home 1211 Plainfield Rd.
