Carolyn (Dina) Grabin

Carolyn Grabin (nee Dina) age 84, at rest on Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband Valentine “Val” Grabin; children, Diane Grabin and Andrew (Sharon) Grabin from Las Vegas; grandchildren, Tiffany (Nathan) Costa of Valencia, CA and Andrew R. Grabin of Soquel, CA; great-grandchildren,  Maryjane and Joseph Costa; brothers, Anthony Jr. from Mokena, IL, Michael from East Peoria, IL, and Dominick (Hyong Ju) Dina from San Antonio, TX.

Preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Sr. and Evanis (nee Gibson) Dina.

Carolyn resided in Joliet and dedicated over 40 years of her life as a bookkeeper for Welsh Red-E-Mix Concrete Inc. She was a devoted member of St. Cyril’s Mothers Club, Women in Construction, and Galloping Gourmets dinning club. Carolyn was an avid bowler and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carolyn’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.

A celebration of Carolyn’s life was held privately. Per her wishes cremation rites were accorded and she was laid to rest at SS Cyril and Methodius Cemetery in Joliet.
