Caroline M. Buhmann

Caroline M. Buhmann (nee Vidmar) Age 92, born November 8, 1917 at rest Saturday May 29, 2010 at Salem Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Daughter of George and Mary (nee Bajt) Vidmar. Loving mother of George W. "" Chach"" (Joan) Buhmann, one sister Marilyn (Dr. Thomas) Carey of Scottsdale, AZ., one brother Francis ( Nancy) Vidmar. Dearest granddaughters Denise (Joseph) Sitar, Daniele (Brian) Plyer, Dawne (Jeffrey) Zawacki, great grandchildren Elizabeth, Matthew and Meaghan Sitar, Brian F. and Lucia Plyer, Benjamin and Alexander Zawacki, one sister-in-law Mary (late John) Vidmar also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband George H. Buhmann (1986), two brothers John Vidmar and William L. Vidmar.

Mother was blessed in marriage to George H. Buhmann, they shared a loving, caring and blended life. She was kind to all who knew her in thought, actions and would gladly help others when needed. Our family would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Salem Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their compassion and caring ways and Vitas Hospice Care whom comforted mother and our family during her final days. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to mother will be distributed to her charities and organizations of her wishes.

A Celebration of Caroline"s life will begin at the funeral home, Wednesday morning with a visitation starting at 9:30AM until the prayer service at 11:30 AM, then will process to Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL. for the Interment services.
