Carol D. Skul

Carol Skul, 81, of Marseilles, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Rivershores Nursing Home in Marseilles.
Carol was born on February 26, 1935, in Streator, IL. She was the daughter of Michael and Caroline (Gould) Gaydos. She married Frank Skul on October 24, 1953.
Carol was retired from Krogers (formerly Eagles) and was former owner with her husband of EZ’s Hot Dogs in the Southtown Mall. She enjoyed flower gardening.
Carol is survived by four children; sons, Douglas, Kevin and Mike, and daughter, Denise Fleming; and 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Private services were held Friday, April 8, 2016 with burial at St. Joseph’s cemetery in Joliet, IL.
