Carol Ann Burwa
March 20, 1952 — May 7, 2011
Carol Ann Barwa, 59, of Crest Hill, formerly of Elgin, passed away May 7, 2011. Beloved wife of Bob; loving mother of Jessica and Joshua (Pamela); dear grandmother of Ryan; sister of Rita(David) Dosemagen, Phyllis Smith and Diane (Tim) Koopman; she is also survived by her nieces and nephews and other loved ones. Carol was a teacher at K.D. Waldo Middle School in Aurora, IL. Carol loved children very deeply. She collected beautiful figurines especially those reminiscent of prairie life and her farming years. Carol grew up on a dairy farm in western Wisconsin until she left to attend college at UW Stout where she met her husband of 36 years.

A Celebration of Carol"s life will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 10:30 am at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1910 Black Road, Joliet, IL 60435. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9, from 4 to 8 pm.
