Age 62, Passed away at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center on Thursday, June 7, 2007, with her
family at her side. Born in Joliet June 2, 1945, she was a resident of Minooka for 31 years.
A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Minooka, and made weekly adoration at Poor Clare Nuns Annunciation Monastery with prayer partners, Linda and Kathy Friant.
Began her career at Lee's Super Mart, Theodore St; head cashier at K-Mart Jefferson St; Ty-Walk; Bell Realty, principal broker of Belom Realty; was currently food service manager at Minooka Community Consolidated school district 201 since 1995.
Carol will be remembered for her bubbly personality, her great laugh, and for always being there to help her family and friends.
Survived by sister, Kathleen (Vince) Tolentino; nieces, (Godchild) Caroline and Jennifer Tolentino, all of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; brother, John (Sharron) Zelinski; nieces, Cheryl and Linda Zelinski, Charlene (Raul) Bravo all of Joliet, Barbara (Erick) Hallick of WI.; nephew, Robert (Debbie) Zelinski of Joliet; special aunt and godmother, Betty (Tony,Deceased) Kolenc; aunt, Joan (Lou, Deceased) Zbacnik; special cousins and caregivers, Thomas and Mary Therese Stefanech; loving pet, ""Carson""; brother-in-law, John (Joyce) Belom, Marie (Lou, Deceased) Belom; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Preceded in death by husband, Raymond Belom; parents, Aloysius and Caroline (Zbacnik) Zelinski.
From where prayer services will be held on Friday at 9:30 am To St. Mary Catholic Church of Minooka for a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10:30 am. Entombment Woodlawn Mausoleum. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.
